Engineer Promotes Earthquake Awareness

Brent Rosenblad, as associate professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, chairs the Missouri Earthquake Preparedness Seismic Safety Commission. The commission was established in 1993 by the Missouri General Assembly to promote awareness of the risk of earthquakes and to take steps to mitigate damage in the event one occurs.

CELDi Symposium Goes Virtual

Noble is the MU site director of CELDi, a National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center.

Scholarship Covers Expenses for Cyber Security Education

There’s a scholarship for students who want to study graduate-level cyber security at Mizzou Engineering. It fully covers tuition and fees with a $34,000 annual stipend. It includes a $9,000 per year professional development fund for books, computing equipment, training, conference travel and even health insurance. And graduates are practically guaranteed a high-paying job.
