Biography

Wei Jiang is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the College of Engineering and the Department of Management in the Trulaske College of Business. Prior to joining the University of Missouri in Fall 2018, he was an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of Missouri University of Science and Technology. He received bachelor’s degrees in both computer science and mathematics from the University of Iowa in 2002. He received a master’s degree in computer science and a PhD degree from Purdue University in 2004 and 2008 respectively. His research interests include privacy-preserving data analytics, privacy issues related to online social networks, and applied cryptography. His work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, the National Security Agency, Google and the University of Missouri Research Board.
