Civil Engineering at Mizzou offers four areas of emphasis: Environmental and Water Resources, Geotechnical, Structural, and Transportation.
Environmental and Water Resources
Environmental engineers attempt to protect the fragile resources of our planet.
Geotechnical
Geotechnical engineers deal with the facilities that make up our infrastructure in, on or made with earth materials
Structural
Structural engineers analyze and design structures to ensure they safely perform their purpose.
Transportation
Transportation engineers develop facilities like highways, traffic signals, transit systems, airports and seaports.
