Langley: Participating in a co-op for a consulting firm like Barry Wehmiller Design Group has given me the tools I need to excel in engineering, both in my remaining classwork and in my future career. In the past seven months, I have been able to learn about different manufacturing processes by visiting various client sites. Being a part of project teams, I assisted with many roles such as engineering reviews, project execution and delivery, contractor management, and programming and HMI development. This has helped diversify my knowledge of engineering and allowed me to utilize skills learned in the classroom at Mizzou for my projects. This experience has opened new doors for me to excel as a mechanical engineer after graduation.
