Hard work is paying off for more than a dozen MU students employed by Campus Dining Services, all of whom have been awarded scholarships for the spring 2020 semester. Campus Dining Services held its annual Student Employee of the Year Scholarship Contest last fall, and 14 students were selected by their management teams for the honor based on their reliability, quality of work, initiative, teamwork and contribution to their employer. Four of the award recipients are majoring in engineering: Nicholas Clouston works at Rollins Dining and majors in civil engineering; Angie Garcia is employed at the MU Student Center and is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering; Ryan White works at Plaza 900 and majors in civil engineering; and engineering major Kyra Liebi works at j café. Each of the winners will receive a $100 scholarship to apply to the spring semester. Nicholas Bode, majoring in history and political science, was selected as the Campus Dining Services Student Employee of the Year and will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

This is the 28th year campus Dining Services has held the contest and the 22nd year it was awarded scholarships to student employees.
