The Mizzou chapter of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America is one of four semifinalists in the MCAA’s Student Chapter Competition.

The national contest tasked MCAA student chapters nationwide with executing a proposal for the mechanical portion of a large-scale addition and renovation project for the football stadium at Indiana University. The grand prize for the event is $10,000.

Mizzou will compete with McMaster University, the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Wentworth Institute of Technology in the final, which will take place at the annual MCAA Convention on March 4 in Phoenix. The winner will be announced March 6.

The Mizzou MCAA chapter is no stranger to victory at this event, having won in 2016.
